- Congratulations to Riley Sudbeck on breaking three school records for Hartington-Newcastle at Friday's game with Elkhorn Valley. *He completed 22 passes, which broke the record of 16 by Shaye Morten.

*He attempted 38 passes, which broke the record of 29 by Shaye Morten.

*He also had 22 tackles, which broke the record of 21 by Turner Korth & Kobe Heitman

 

-Close Up members your pizza orders are due by 3:00 today!!

-There will be class meetings today for grades 9-12 during homeroom to discuss homecoming.

- Attention students in grades 9-12:  If you want to audition for a speaking part in the one-act play but missed auditions Sunday, please see Mr. Johnson by the end of the day Tuesday.  If you would like to be a part of the chorus/ensemble and have not signed up yet, you can still do so this week.

-Attention any high school students in grades 9-12 interested in a welding career or a career as a machinist! Tomorrow a rep from RTEC in Yankton, South Dakota will be here to speak about those careers. If you are interested in this please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign out sheet.

-Attention Juniors and Seniors! The rep from Wayne State College will be here tomorrow at 12:45. Please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with this rep.

-Varsity Girls Golf @ Battle Creek today at 9am.

-JH Football today at LHNE at 4pm. They will play on the Norfolk Middle School Field. Dismiss team at 2pm; bus will leave at 2:15.

-Cross Country Meet at Wayne on today at 4:30pm. Dismiss team at 1:15; Team bus leaves at 1:30.

-JV Football @ Wakefield today at 6:30pm. Team bus will leave at 4:45.

-National Honor Society Induction tomorrow night at 7pm.

-Message from Mrs. Hahne: Cedar Catholic’s Homecoming Parade is this Friday, September 15th and HNPS Homecoming Parade is September, 22nd.   Students will need to wear black pants, all black shoes, and black crew socks.  Band students will be dismissed at 1:30pm on Friday for Cedar’s 2:15pm parade.

-There are still Yearbooks available to purchase. Please see Mrs. Pedersen if you want one.

 

-Floral Designs would like to remind you to order your Homecoming Flowers early! The best days to order are on In-Service days like today. Otherwise, they are open 9-5 every weekday and Saturday mornings 9-noon. Orders can also be placed online or Instagram.
