-Congratulations to the HNS Boys Cross Country team – first ever GNAC Conference Champions! Medalists were Adam Elks – 3rd, Alex Elks – 4th, Issac Santiago – 5th & Aaron Wortmann – 13th. The girls were 4th. Girl’s medalists were Carmen Buschkamp – 4th and Claire Rolfes – 5th. In the Junior High Ashlynn Dailey was the girls’ champion, Kynlee Steffen was 2nd and Sylvie Nieman was 8th. For the Junior High boys, Jeffrey Heine was 5th.
-One-act practice for Sunday, October 13:
6:40 p.m. - All cast and chorus for costume fitting and plant ensemble work
7 p.m. - practice begins

The upcoming rep schedule is as follows: Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota will be here Wednesday, October 16th at 12:30. The rep from Northeast Community College will be here Thursday, October 17th at 1:30. Please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with either of these reps.
-Varsity football vs. Boyd County at 7pm tonight. This will be Parent’s night for Football & Spirit Squad.

-Fall Blood drive is Tuesday, sign up via the QR code found around school. Need to be at least 16 with parent permission. Help us reach our goal of 20 donors
-Youth ages 8-18 interested in joining the Cedar County Sharp Shooters Archery program are invited to an informational meeting and first practice at the Cedar County Fairgrounds on Sunday, November 3rd. Coaches, John Brodersen and Aaron Wiechelman will highlight the details of this year’s program, which runs November-February. If interested in joining call the Cedar County Extension Office at 402-254-6821 by October 17.
