-Circle of Friends: We will meet behind the school on Sunday, November 19th at 11:00am to go to Sioux Falls. If you are unable to attend, you must contact Mrs. Sudbeck ASAP!!
- Attention one-act play cast and crew:
Please be here at 7:45 a.m. tomorrow morning. We will meet in the commons, take attendance and lunch count, and leave for Newcastle. We will return to Hartington around 11:30. For Saturday, we will need to be at school at 10 a.m. We will get ready in Hartington and then leave for Wausa at 11:30. The performances will start at 12:30. HNS will perform at 1:30.
-Attention volleyball girls: If you have not turned in your uniform & hanger please turn them in to Coach Haselhorst tomorrow!!
- Please excuse the following students at 2:55 for Big Cat/little Cat activities in Grade 2. Ross Fischer, Rayne Allvin & Faith McManigal.
-The National Honor Society will be hosting a pumpkin pie eating contest Monday during homeroom. One person from grades 7-12 will be selected. You must bring 2 cans of food to be entered for a chance of being picked. Participants will be announced Monday.
-Any students in grades 7-12 that are interested in being on a dance team, please sign up at the office or contact Mrs. Peitz.
- FFA Degree Night is tonight at 7 pm in the HNPS Commons. All Members are required to attend in Official dress.
-This Week is American Education Week!
Tomorrow is: Kick Off your Career with Education – Wear your Favorite Football Team Jersey. Friday Afternoon Presentation is Former Cornhusker Football Player Demoine Adams. Elementary at 1:30 and Jr. High and High School at 2:30
-The answers and winners for yesterday’s trivia questions were:
1- Who toured Italy, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic with their college choir? The answer is Mrs. Anderson – there was no winner
2- Who is “double-jointed” in three places and spent 3 years giving campus tours at college? The answer is Mr. Stappert, there was no winner
3- Who was the on-air morning newscaster for KV91 radio station for two years? The answer is Mrs. Cornemann; the winner is Turner Korth
-The questions for today’s trivia contest are:
1 – Who has gone skydiving in Florida, zip-lining in Honduras and has a knack for baking and decorating wedding cakes?
2- Who has a 10 year gap between two of their children?
Put your answers in the jar on the front counter of the office by 1:00.
-There will be a speech meeting next Tuesday during Homeroom in the Commons for anyone in grades 9-12 who are interested.
