Announcements:
-Congratulations to Turner Korth & Ethan Koch for qualifying for the State Wrestling Tournament, which will be held in Omaha the end of this week.
-The National Honor Society will be selling crushes and kisses during lunch on Monday & Tuesday or you can buy them from Katelyn Fischer. Each item will be $1.00.
-The HNS Junior High Basketball Tournament begins tomorrow. HNS girls play Wausa at 1:30 pm; HNS boys play Wausa at 2:45 pm.
-Attention juniors and seniors who interested in attending Wayne State College. The rep from Wayne State will be here tomorrow at 11:17. Again, please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with this rep. Again, seniors who know they will be attending Wayne State should take time to visit with this rep to firm up any last questions on the process from here through next fall.
-Prom Decorations Committee Meeting today during homeroom in Mrs. Peitz’s room.

-Girls’ Sub-District Basketball Tourney tomorrow at 6:00 pm in Wayne. HNS will play the winner of the Cedar Catholic-LCC game.
-The HNS speech team competed at Wausa Saturday. There were 13 teams at the meet.
The varsity team took 6th. Willa Scoville was the champion in Informative. Other medalists were:
Entertainment—Sam Harms, 3rd
OID—Dylan Dendinger, Sam Harms, Autumn Lammers, Abbe Morten, and Shaye Morten, 2nd
The JV team took 4th. HNS had four event champions. They were Brianna Hopping in Persuasive, Liby Lange in Poetry, Dylan Dendinger and Isaac Bruning in Duet Acting, and the team of Makenna Clarkson, Kayden Jueden, Keanna Korth, Delayne Sudbeck, and Shelby Underwood in OID. Other medalists were:
Extemp—Alison Karnes, 6th
Informative—Keanna Korth, 6th
