Announcements:

-Today is the end of the first quarter which means no shorts can be worn until the 4th quarter.

-Congratulations HNS Boys XC Team State Qualifiers! The team placed 3rd which earns all six runners a trip to Kearney next week! Carson Noecker ran a new course record with a 14:58.58! Parker Placed 16th with a 17:47, Cole Rosener placed 18th with a 18:21, and Alan placed 34th with a 19:24. Lukas ran a 20:27 and Isaac ran a 20:42.

 

-Congratulations to Jessica Opfer and Ava Noecker for qualifying individually by medaling 3rd and 15th. The Girls team placed 4th Jessica ran a 20:21, Ava ran a 21:55, Claire ran a 22:21, Abby ran a 23:14, and Carmen ran a 23:34.

-One-act practice for Sunday.  If you had an alteration to your costume or play a slave, come at 6:30 p.m.  7:00 p.m. for all cast and chorus.  VB players will join after VB practice at 7:30.  Practice will start in the commons.

-Varsity Football tonight vs. Wakefield at 7:00.

This will be Parent’s Night for Football & Spirit Squad.

-Concessions workers for the football game tonight are

5:45-7:30 -- Adeline Pinkelman, Ashlynn Pinkelman, & Karissa Bruning

7:30-Clean up -- Ryell Haug, Carmen Buschkamp, & Isabell Schaecher

-Conference Volleyball starts tomorrow morning at Bloomfield. HNS will play at 10:00 against Bloomfield; then at 11:00 vs. Tri County. Games will play ahead if possible. Team bus will leave at 8:40.

-FCCLA Meeting Tuesday during homeroom.

-Senior Class pictures will be taken next Thursday during 8th period & Homeroom.

-The CCHS Senior Class is having a Haunted House on October 15th & 16th at 55986 880 Road, Hartington from 7pm-11pm each night. All ages are welcome. Cost is $5.00

 

-Mr. Rolfes will have Detention Hall next week October 18-21
