Announcements:

-Congratulations to the HNS speech team on their runner-up finish in the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament yesterday.  Wausa was the team champion.  There were two sets of finals at the meet.  The top six in each event were in the championship final and the next six were in the honors final.

Humorous Prose - Jude Krie, 2nd, Carsen Hopping, 4th

Informative - Kennedy Gotch, 2nd

The next meet for HNS is Saturday in Wausa.

-Attention Juniors and Seniors! The rep from Wayne State College will be here Monday, February 14th at 12:45. Please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with this rep.

 

-Attention juniors! If anyone is interested in attending Boys or Girls Cornhusker State they need to see Mr. Kneifl before the end of the day today.

-Jr. High Boys Basketball today vs. Wakefield at 3:30. There will be a ‘B’ game to follow. This is BOYS only!! Dismiss the boys at 3:00

-HS Basketball at Wynot tomorrow; game order – 4:15 JV girls (2 qtrs.); 4:45 JV boys (3 qtrs.); 6:15 Varsity girls w/ Varsity boys to follow. Team bus will leave at 3:15.

 

-District Wrestling at Madison Tomorrow & Saturday.

- Youth ages 11-18 interested in joining the Cedar County Sharp Shooters Shotgun program are asked to stop by the office to pick up a flyer with information about how to join.  The Sharp Shooters program enables youth to learn and develop safe firearm handling skills and sound fundamentals of shooting.  It also offers opportunities for competition where youth can exhibit their skills.

-Attention Students in grades 10-11-12: An email went out to your parents about post prom. If you do not have access to a printer to print the forms we have some on the front counter. This includes the outside date form. All forms are due back by March 10!

-Track kids interested in attending camp please pick up information on Mrs. Noecker's bulletin board. We will be offering transportation for you just get on board! 

-Opfer Construction is looking for summer help. Anyone interested please see the poster above the water fountains.

-Close-Up Meeting on Monday during Homeroom in Ms. Lange’s room.

 

-Anyone interested in working at the swimming pool this summer can pick up an application at the office. Apps are due into the City Office by February 16.

 

-Mrs. Noecker will have homework detention hall this week.
