-JUNIOR CLASS MEETING TODAY DURING HOMEROOM IN MRS.PEITZ’S ROOM.
-A thank you goes out to the Psychology class who assembled the display window acknowledging the former Nebraska governors associated with our school. Students, if you get a chance take a look at the various pieces donated to our school by the families and the Cedar County News. Governors Thone and Burney were students and Governor Brooks spent time here as the Superintendent.
-The Track Apparel Store Closes at Midnight tonight, get your orders in!
-On Wednesday, March 9 at 10:30am the Quiz Bowl team of Bennet, Lane & Ky will compete in the championship match of the Wayne Radio Quiz Bowl. The match will be live on waynedailynews.com
-Tonight is speech night. Anyone is welcome to attend. It starts at 7 p.m. in the high school with performances to follow in the commons. Freshmen and sophomores should bring a dozen and a half bars or cookies for tonight. All speech team members should help set up rooms in the high school during homeroom today.
-Juniors, there will be John Baylor onto College prep 2nd period for all juniors in Mrs. O'Brien's room.

If you wish to apply for the Nebraska Leadership Seminar this summer please see Mr. Kneifl for the essay application. Application deadline for NLS is Monday, March 14th at 3:35. These are to be handed in to Mr. Kneifl.
Also any sophomores and juniors who were not present Friday please see Mr. Kneifl to get your Northeast Community College application completed.

-Attention Students in grades 10-11-12: All Post Prom forms are due back by this Thursday! There are extra forms on the office counter if you need one yet.
-Please get your Prom RSVPs turned in as soon as possible! Also if you are not able to attend please mark “Not Attending” on the back. Thank you!
- VFW National Anthem contest for Grades K-8 and contest for Grades 9-12 with prizes 1st place $500.00 Gift card, 2nd place $300 gift card, and 3rd place $200 gift card. Entries must be submitted by March 31st.
-Mrs. Pedersen has the homework detention hall this week.
