Announcements:

-Today’s Jr. High Track Meet has been moved to this coming Monday starting at noon.

 

- State FCCLA has wrapped up. The Hartington-Newcastle FCCLA chapter received the following awards: 

Chapter Award: Silver

Nebraska National Program Award in Student Body, Stand Up, and Career Connections

Ms. Mecseji: ACE Adviser Award

Alexus Hans was selected to be one of five for the 2022-2023 Career Leader State Peer Officer Team. She will be the Public Relations Officer. 

Emma Wubben competed in the Say Yes to FCS Education STAR project. She received Silver and is your State Champion in Level 2. 

Congratulations to all! 

 

-Attention Juniors and Seniors! On Monday, April 11th, Theresa Hochstein, a 2003 graduate from Hartington Public School, will be here at 9:00 in the morning to speak with any students interested in the Air Force. Please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you would wish to visit with Theresa.

 

-Yearbook sales have begun. Envelopes were sent home and cost is $15 dollars for seniors and $25 for all others. See Mrs. Pedersen or a Yearbook staff member. 

-Drivers Ed for this summer will run June 1,2,3,6 & 7 from 8am to noon. If you turn 14 by August 15, 2022 you are eligible to take the course. Cost will be $290.00. Registration forms are at the central office. Registrations must be mailed into Mr. Ron Rolfes by May 1 with payment. The class is limited to 40 students so register right away.

 

-Attention 8th graders: Save the date for Holy Trinity Parish youth camp. Date is June 27th – July 1st. More information will be coming soon.

 

-Miss LuAnn Lange has the homework detention hall for this week.
