Announcements:

-Speech team shirt order forms are available at the central office and due back to the office by 3:30 on Thursday, February 2

- Attention Juniors! Please see Mr. Kneifl by noon on Friday, February 3rd if you wish to be considered for Cornhuskers Boys or Girls State.

 

-Attention Juniors and Sophomores! Please see Mr. Kneifl by noon on Friday, February 3rd if you wish to be considered for the Nebraska Leadership Seminar this summer.

-Boys Conference Basketball starts tonight with HNS vs. Osmond-Randolph at Winside at 7:30pm. Team bus will leave at 5:45 pm.

 

-Bowling Districts today at Norfolk at 10:00. Team van will leave at 8:00

 

-The drop off for the Prom RSVP's is on the front counter of the main office. The chicken option is a stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon.

 

-Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors: Post Prom forms have been emailed to your parents. Please ask them to find that email. They are also on the school website. There is a form for you to attend post prom and one for a date if you are inviting someone.  PAY ATTENTION TO THE DEADLINES.

There is another form available from Mr. Uldrich or the office that needs completed for the outside dates to attend prom and the dance.

 

-Yesterday the HNS speech team competed at a pentangular in Wynot.  No team or individual scores were kept, but the following students earned recognition for outstanding performances:

Great job yesterday to all who performed.  The next meet for HNS is Saturday at Wayne.

 

-Forgiveness is the ability to move past being emotionally or physically injured, and allow yourself to let go of the hurt and pain. By forgiving someone, you don’t have to say that what the other person did was okay. And, forgiveness is not contingent on the other person apologizing. Forgiveness allows you to move forward.
